Ronald D. Campbell, 65, of Galion, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at MedCentral Hospital, Mansfield after a brief illness.
Mr. Campbell was born in Ashland on September 12, 1950 to Duane Campbell, Cleveland and the late Bonnie Levers. He married Bonnie M. Lambert on October 31, 1998 and she survives him.
He retired in 2010 from K & B Lumber Co., Galion after many years of service. Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a volunteer fireman with the Polk Jackson Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Polk. He enjoyed spending time with his family, building things with his wife, and deer hunting. Ronald had a love of eagles and Indian memorabilia.
He is survived by his three sons and two daughters Susan (James) Graves, West Salem, Megan Campbell, Mansfield, Ronald III (Melissa) Campbell, Shelby, Joshua (Tiffany) Campbell, Loudonville, and William (Marie) Campbell, Ashland, his two step-daughters Courtnee Cox, Galion and Michelle (Bill) Miller, Kansas City, MO, his step-son Gerald Cox, Galion, his twenty grandchildren, his four great-grandchildren, his nephew Jeff Levers, Mansfield, and his sister-in-law Linda Crumley, Galion.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Levers and his son Ronald Campbell II, who is the infant twin of Megan.
