Richard Lynn Ernst, 53, Galion, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield.

Lynn was born in Mount Gilead on June 27, 1962 to Richard and the late MaryBelle (Loyer) Ernst.

Lynn had worked at Edge Plastics and MTD.

He is survived by his two sisters; Linda Ratliff, Mansfield, and Sharon and Ivan Haga, Galion; one brother; Gary and Jackie Ernst, Galion, three nieces; Christina and Shawn Rosen, Anita and Brian Conley, and Stephanie Haga; one nephew; Nathan Ernst; four great nieces; Briana Streib, Opal Conley, Kennedy Ernst, Ruby Belle Stratton; two great nephews; Dakota and Kolton Rosen, his sister-in-law, Charlotte Ernst and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Gladys and Bruce Ernst, Florence and Roy Loyer and a brother; John Ernst.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia.
