Patty Lemon

Patty L. Lemon, 60, of Loudonville died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2016 in University Hospitals Samaritan Regional Health Center of Ashland following a brief illness.

Patty was born March 17, 1956 in Wooster and was the daughter of Junior R. and Joan (Hoag) Lemon. She was a 1974 graduate of Loudonville High School and had lived in the Loudonville area most of her life. She had worked for Dr. Rod Stinemetz for 37 years before spending the last two years in the office at Colonial Manor Health Care Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, previously serving on the church Endowment Committee, and the Mohican Area Historical Society. Patty thoroughly enjoyed following all her friend’s children throughout their Loudonville High School sporting careers and ‘never met a stranger’. It will be hard to imagine attending any event at the school and not seeing Patty there cheering on the teams.

Patty is survived by a community of friends including Deb and Joe Allerding and families, Chris and Rob Harris and families, and Becky and John Bowman and families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Kathy Lynn Lemon Burgess on July 12, 2016, and her uncle and aunt, Leo and Mabel Lemon.

Funeral services for Patty will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 222 E. Main St., Loudonville with Rev. Scott Henderson and Wende Lance officiating. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call in the Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville on Wednesday evening Nov. 9 from 6-8 p.m. At Patty’s request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the L-P Athletic Boosters, c/o Trish Edmondson, 16301 Twp. Rd. 463, Loudonville, OH 44842. Online condolences may be left by visiting www.Byerly-Lindsey.com .
