Patricia Ann Oswalt

Patricia Ann Oswalt, 64, of Loudonville, died Friday evening, August 28, 2015 at her home after a nine year battle with cancer. Pat was born September 16, 1950 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Wayne Edward and Lucille Irene (Speicher) Morris. She was a resident of Loudonville all her life and a 1968 graduate of Loudonville High school. She was the co-owner with her husband Myron, of Young’s Sand and Gravel. Pat enjoyed reading and riding motor cycles. She was known by the family she loved so very much as their “social butterfly”. Her family felt she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, special aunt, and friend.

Pat is survived by her husband, Myron, whom she married October 28, 1966; her son, John Oswalt of Loudonville; her two daughters, Cindy (Jack) McCane and Tina (Joe) Hedrick, both of Loudonville; 5 grandchildren, Brittany (Paul) Sisk, Mitchell, Nicole and Tiffany Hedrick, all of Loudonville, and Matt McCane of Kentucky; her mother-in-law, Kathyleen Franks of Perrysville; two brothers, James Morris of Loudonville and Robert (Joyce) Morris of Howard; her sister, Rita (Dave) Pence of Jeromesville; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two dogs, Sparky and Skippy, and her bird Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law: Cecil Franks, her sister-in-law: Charlene Morris, and her brother-in-law: Doug Oswalt.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with her brother, Robert Morris, leading the service. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Lindsey Funeral Home.
