Patricia Ann Brissell

LEXINGTON: Patricia Ann Brissell passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 in her home. She was 83.

She was born August 24, 1936 and graduated from Galion High School. On June 16, 1957, she married Irvin “Sonny” Brissell and they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away July 8, 2003.

In younger years she enjoyed going bowling and crocheting. She enjoyed going to their mobile home at Lake Erie and over time had many friends that they would enjoy playing cards with or just spending time around a campfire with. Flower gardening was another one of her passions, especially pink petunias. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a wonderful, caring mother and that translated into a loving grandma who enjoyed spoiling them whenever she could.

She is survived by two sons Ted (Sue) Brissell of Lexington, and Rodney (Dusty) Brissell of Ontario; two grandsons Travis (fiancée Aimee Young) Brissell and Shane Brissell; step-granddaughters Nicole White and Natichia Herndon; 9 great-grandchildren several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings except Bonnie Thoman.

The Brissell family will receive friends Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a memorial service honoring Patricia’s life will be held Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. Celebrant Dave Roberts will speak.
