Mary Ellen Harris, 79, of Ashland, passed away late Friday evening, Nov. 3, 2017, at The Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 22, 1938, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late George L. and Ruby A. (Spohn) Harris.
Mary Ellen was employed as a nurse aide at The Good Shepherd for several years. She also worked at Ashland Restaurant.
She is survived by her good friends, Carolyn (Jim) Lucas and Bertha (Don) Crist, both of Ashland; and her many friends at The Good Shepherd.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue. A graveside serve conducted by Pastor Julie Thompson will be held in Dickey Cemetery Friday at 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
