Martha Jane Haliburton, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born April 17, 1947, in Mansfield, to the late John and Margaret (Sabo) Aungst.
She was a Lexington High School graduate of 1965 and was an active volunteer for Madison Public Schools. Martha was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eugene Haliburton; two brothers, John Aungst and William Aungst; sister, Margaret (Steve) McKown; two nieces, Tina Aungst and Kristy (James) Harris; a great-nephew, Skyler Harris; and two great-nieces, Mackenzie and Jocelynn Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William “Bill” Haliburton.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
