Marilyn Lee Smith Leffler, 81, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 7, 2014.
Marilyn was born September 7, 1932 in Mansfield and was the daughter of the late Orville Eugene and Ann (Dorner) Smith. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Marilyn loved to play bingo and enjoyed watching old movies. Everything was about her family and she always put them first. She took great joy in taking care of her grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending family activities and get-togethers.
Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Tracy Leffler and Michelle Perry both of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Damian Perry and Dylan Perry; one brother, Edwin (Nancy) Smith of Mansfield; and one sister-in-law, Carol (Mike) Wilkinson of Rittman.
Along with her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leffler.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jeremy Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
