Linda Louise Turner Sherrill Yoho

CANTON: Linda Louise Turner Sherrill Yoho, 74, of Canton and formerly of Bellville, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Community following an extended illness.

The daughter of Don and Letha (Winterringer) Turner, Linda was born September 16, 1946 in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Lexington High School.  Linda had worked at Hi-Stat.

She enjoyed gardening.  Each year Linda grew and canned vegetables.  She also enjoyed harness racing.

A loving mom, grandma, and great grandma, family meant so much to Linda.

She looked forward to personally designing the best Halloween costumes for her children, often winning the costume contest following the annual Bellville Halloween parade.

She is survived by her sons Robert “Bob” Sherrill of Bellville and John (Jackie) Sherrill of Union, West Virginia, and daughter Angela (Ric) Dolph of Canton; grandchildren Bruce (Sam) Breeze, Brandon (Mindy) Breeze, Travis (Alexis) Masters, Alan Sherrill, and Adam Sherrill; great grandchildren Karleigh, Kipten, Hadley, and Alex Breeze, Lukas Masters, and Maggie Sherrill; brother Jack (Colleen) Turner and sister Lisa (Jeff) Shutt; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leon Yoho and siblings Marsha Duffy and Dale Turner.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday September 7, 2021 from 12 pm – 2 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Homes.  Graveside services will follow in Bellville Cemetery with Celebrant Jerry Wilson speaking.
