Larry Litten, 77, passed away Wednesday evening, November 6, 2013 in Hospice House of Ashland.

He was born September 23, 1936 in Flushing, OH to parents Myron and Lillian (Easton) Litten. Following graduation from high school he enlisted in the US Navy.

In addition to farming his land, Larry worked at GM for 37 years until his retirement. Spare time was spent fishing (he wintered in Florida for the fish) and collecting and restoring International tractors. In younger years, he loved riding Harley-Davidsons and had a gift for carving intricate wood figures.

A loving grandfather, Larry took time each Sunday to spend with his three special granddaughters.

Larry was active with the Amvets Post 96, American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2178 all in Ashland.

He is survived by three sons: Barry Litten of Ashland, Todd Litten of Jeromesville, and Mark Litten of Ashland; three granddaughters: Stephanie Litten, Kelsey Litten, and Bobbi Jo Litten; a special daughter-in-law Diana Litten; siblings Don (Marty) Litten and Bob (Chris) Litten; numerous nieces and nephews; and the loving crew at Dairy Bar in Ashland.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
