John M. Rader, 70, of Galion, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
John was born in Galion on December 31, 1945 and was raised by his grandparents. He married Mary Rader and she preceded him in death.
John served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his niece’s children and considered them to be his grandchildren.
He is survived by his niece, Carol Brock and her family of Crestline, his good friends Bob Renuball, Bucyrus and Mrs. Miller.
Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Liberty Township, at a later date.
