Jasmine Marie Jefferson

LEXINGTON: Jasmine Marie Jefferson, age 30, of Lexington left this world unexpectedly at her home with her girlfriend Lindsey Fagan.

She was born January 5, 1991 in Mansfield, attended Lexington High School and graduated from Goal Digital Academy 2009.

Recently she worked at MTD in Willard.

Jasmine had a huge giving heart and a wonderful soul. There are many along her journey that she loved to help in battles with despair, depression, trauma and addictions. She felt God had given her experiences to understand and strength to help others.

Her gifts are two beautiful children, her daughter Gianna Gerace and son Ryland Jefferson, left to treasure her memory. Jasmine loved reading them the story “I Love You to the Moon and Back” and adopted this phrase to express her unending love for them. Significantly, Jasmine left on the May night of the Super Flower Blood Moon, the closest the moon will come to the earth this year, and according to astrology, indicates change.

In addition to her children she is survived by her father Carlos Jefferson of Columbia, TN, mother Kim (Williams) Jefferson of Lexington, brother Dominick Jefferson of Lexington, paternal grandparents Leon and Ann Jefferson of Mansfield, maternal grandparents Arthur and Donna Williams of Mansfield, OH, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Ernestine Jefferson and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 10 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a service in celebration of Jasmine will begin at 6 pm.

Memorial donations in memory of Jasmine may be made to Kim Jefferson for her children’s education or Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services of donor’s choice.

The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Homes is serving the family and encourage condolences at:www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
