Heidi Lowe

Heidi Jo Bogner Lowe passed away at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center on Tuesday evening, May 28, 2019 after an extended illness.

She spent the last few weeks of her life surrounded by family. Heidi was greatly admired by the medical teams and family for her strength and will to live. She had an optimistic outlook about both her life and her illness. As she waited to be called Home, her faith remained strong in the Lord.

Heidi was born on September 10, 1963 to George and Barbara (Thierlein) Bogner in Mansfield, Ohio. She was a 1981 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School. During her school years, she participated in Brownies, Girl Scouts, the Mini Ramette Drill Team, and was a Ramette throughout high school. Heidi was a member of Diamond Hills Baptist Church. She was employed by Richland Bank until she transitioned to the Medical Records department at Peoples Hospital and then Mansfield General Hospital/MedCentral, working until 2004 when she became too ill.

Heidi loved being a mother to her sons, Chad and Lucas, and was ecstatic about being a grandmother to her only grandson, Jaxon. She was a proud aunt and always held a special place in her heart for her nieces, nephew, and great nephew. Heidi was always very appreciative to her siblings and her parents for their continued support and care throughout her illness.

Heidi surrounded herself with numerous Bible verses that had special meaning to her and relied heavily on prayer. She was constantly writing various notes, whether it was an inspirational quote or how to transport and keep a casserole warm. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians. She was very familiar with each Indians team member and enjoyed talking sports. She was also a big NFL and Tom Brady fan.

Heidi leaves behind her mother, Barb Bogner of Mansfield, her sons which she adored, Chad Pauley of Greensboro, North Carolina and his girlfriend Kelsey Confer and Lucas (Danielle) Lowe of Bucyrus. A special grandson Jaxon Lowe. Her sisters Deborah (Bob) Hoffman, Amy (Scott) Shrader, Beth (Jason) Leppo, and a brother Shaun (Amber) Bogner all of Mansfield. Nieces Kaylee (Michael) Schwechheimer, Caitlin and Emily Bogner and nephew Jack Bogner. A special great nephew Quinn Schwechheimer. She was preceded in death by her father, George Bogner whom she greatly missed and maternal grandparents Robert and Thalia Thierlein and paternal grandparents Peter and Eva Bogner.

The family wishes to hold a private memorial service in celebration of Heidi’s life.
