Gary L. Hall

Gary L. Hall, 76, of Bellville passed away unexpectedly Monday morning August 15, 2016 after many years of numerous health issues.

He was born March 2, 1940 in Bellville.

A United States Army veteran, Gary served from 1958 to 1962 as a cook also earning a marksman award. Gary worked at Ideal Electric for over 30 years.

He loved spending time over the years with his good friends Bob Crill and George Smith at a cabin in Pennsylvania. Gary loved to camp, fish, and just spend time with family. He was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan. He loved walking the woods on the 10 acres at home along with his grandchildren teaching them about plants, flowers, and nature.

Gary is survived by his mother Ruth Lewis, of Bellville; loving wife Diana Hall, who was by his side for 35 years, his first wife Barb Bender, of Butler, who spent 23 years with him; four children, Dawn (Roy) Peterson, of Bellville, Arnie Hall, of Texas, Michele (Joe) Crunkilton, of Butler, Vanessa (Scott) Fisher, of Bellville; stepchildren Scott (Misty) Reed, of Howard, Angela Reed, of Ashland, Marlene Peters, of Ontario; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings Waldo Hall, Dwight Hall, Richard Hall, Arnold Fry, Ilene Messer; nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The Hall family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 18 , 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Graveside services will be in Bellville Cemetery.
