MANSFIELD: Evelyn P. Weber-Chandler peacefully passed away Friday, September 8 , 2017 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. She was 95.

She was born November 2, 1921 to parents Eugene and Rose (Stull) Payne in Danville, Ohio. She attended St. Vincent High School in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. After graduating in 1940 she went to beauty college in Baltimore, Maryland.

On December 27, 1947, she married George H. Weber and they shared 21 years of marriage until he passed away in 1969. She later met William “Bill” Chandler and they were happily married on June 1, 1991.

Evelyn worked as a beautician in Mt. Vernon and opened her own business in Mansfield called “Evelyn’s Beauty Shop”. She later worked 15 years as a dispatcher for United Telephone before retiring.

She was a former hospital volunteer in Westerville. In younger years, she enjoyed bowling and dancing; she always loved to travel, especially cruising.

But above all, she lived for her children and grandchildren and cherished spending time with her family. Evelyn somehow managed to make each of her children and grandchildren feel as though they were her favorite.

She is survived by her husband Bill Chandler of Loveland, Ohio; children and their spouses: Mary (Phil) Trivette, George Weber (Tricia Chandler), Michael (Peggy) Weber, Ron (Lee Ann) Weber, John Weber (Chad Wells), and Geoff Weber: son-in-law Eric Senff: children of 26 yrs: Debbie (Larry) Weiss, Diane (Charlie) Wells, Chris (Barry) Whitton, and Cathy Chandler (John Rodgers); grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason) Donnelly, Jeremy (Lisa) Weber, Lisa (Ken) Phelan, Todd Trivette, Karyn Trivette (Melissa Hugeback), Amy Trivette, Jill Weber, Robyn Trivette, Matt Weber, Max Weber, Spencer Weber, Erica (Doug) Ross, Chad (Jen) Weis, Joel Chandler, Heather Whitton, Brady (Rachel) Whitton, Kyle Whitton, Mikaela Whitton, Seth (Steph) Miller, Kelsey Miller, and Adrianne Miller; 16 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents Eugene and Rose Payne, she was preceded in death by first husband George Weber, her son Jim Weber on Oct. 22, 2011, sister Ferol Ferenbaugh, and brothers Clarence Payne, Burt Payne, Don Payne, Jack Payne, and Dwight Payne.

Friends are invited to call 6-8pm Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Snyder Funeral Home (2553 Lexington Avenue in Mansfield) where the celebration of life funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:30 am with an hour of calling prior. Celebrant Dave Roberts will officiate and burial in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery will follow.
