Evelyn M. Ackinclose, 85, of 782 Bel Air Drive, Galion, was called home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, whom she dearly loved, on Friday, August 1, 2014 at her home.

Evelyn was born in Mansfield on September 12, 1928 to the late Roy and Emma E. (Kopfman) Nelson. She married Robert J. Ackinclose, Jr. and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1991.

Evelyn was retired from the former North Electric where she worked as an administrative supervisor. She had attended the Church of Christ, Galion. She cared about her family and they were her number one priority. She valued the long time friendships she had in the community.

She is survived by her son James L. Ackinclose of Grove City, her daughter Susan M. Hill of Galion, her four grandchildren: Steven Hill, Taylor, Matthew and Katherine Ackinclose, her sister Sandy Fodor of Galion and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jack Nelson.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
