Esta Faye Crowe, 93, of Bellville passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Country Meadow Care Center.

The daughter of John and Elizabeth Crowe, Esta was born October 1, 1921 in Big Prairie, OH.

In the 1930’s Esta and her family moved to a small farm outside of Loudonville. She was a fire lookout at the fire tower in Mohican State Park. During WWII, Esta worked for the Flexible Bus Company in Loudonville.

She attended Bunker Hill Baptist Church and was a member of the Bellville Friendship Club.

She enjoyed walking and was an immaculate house keeper.

She is survived by two nieces and a nephew, in addition to extended family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Eugene; step father Grover Taylor, half brother Wilbur, step sisters Helen, Veria, Eva and step brother Ralph.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 12 noon in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where her family will receive friends the hour prior, from 11 a.m.-12 noon. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to MedCentral Hospice may be made through the funeral home.
