Ella L. Jarvis, 74, of Galion, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, OH unexpectedly.

Ella was born in Bucyrus, OH on October 13, 1940 to the late Paul and Eva (Stock) Kelly. She married William Jarvis on September, 18, 1959 and he survives her.

She was retired from Lupica Motors in Marion and had previously worked for many years at the former Peabody Manufacturing, Galion and North Electric, Galion. Mrs. Jarvis was a life member of Galion VFW Post # 79 Auxiliary, American Legion Post # 243 Auxiliary, Galion, AMVETS Post # 1979 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose # 303, Galion, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 630, Galion. She enjoyed dancing, gardening and collecting penguins.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Charles) Oliver of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her brother Philip Kelly.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m.  at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 13 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion, with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in care of the funeral home.
