Edward Ilo Mosher, 73, formerly of Perrysville, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 20, 2017 in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.

Ed was born July 19, 1944 near Loudonville and was the son of the late Ilo Donald and Margaret Ruth Juergens Mosher. He was a 1962 graduate of Loudonville High School and lived in the Loudonville-Perrysville area all of his life.

Ed was a 32-year employee of Mansfield Plumbing Products retiring in 1996. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Green-Perrysville Fire Dept. and the Lakeville Fire Dept. He was also a social member of VFW Post 8586 Perrysville.

Ed is survived by three sons: Kevin (Zslona) Mosher of Loudonville, Tim (Tamara) Mosher of Raleigh, NC, and Billy Mosher of Oklahoma; one daughter: Lisa Burke of Florida; ten grandchildren; one brother: John H. Mosher of Loudonville; and two sisters: Betty Wickham and Alice (John) Schopfer, both of Loudonville.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. in Loudonville Cemetery with Rev. Scott Henderson officiating. There will be no visitation. The family requests memorial contributions be given to the Perrysville Firefighters Assoc., 181 East Third St., Perrysville, OH 44864 or the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 500 W. Wilson Bridge Rd. #105, Worthington, OH 43085.
