Dylan Giles

Dylan James Giles, 16, of Shelby, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at his residence.

Born July 7, 1998 in Franklin County, Ohio, he was the son of David Giles and Scott and Cara (McDonough) Will. Dylan was a typical teenage boy full of mischief and sarcasm and willing to give his critique on anything, whether you wanted his view or not. Dylan is described by his friends as funny and great to be around. Dylan loved cats and anything else that was soft. He enjoyed a good fireworks show and was known in the house as the resident pyrotechnics expert. Dylan was very intelligent and had a gift of working with any type of technology. He typically enjoyed creating and editing videos and photos to make them how he wanted them to look.

Dylan is survived by his parents; brothers and sister, Zachary T. Giles, Seth M. Will, Lukah S. Will, and Alayna J. Will; paternal grandmother, Judy Giles; aunt, Laura Giles Fugate; cousin, Kaitlyn Fugate; maternal grandparents, James and Carol McDonough, Lee and Melissa McBride, Gary and Susan Drushel, and Ronald and Wendy Will; aunt, Kacy McDonough; cousins, Logan and Grace McDonough, both of Conway, SC; and numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Giles.

Funeral services will be heldĀ Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at 6 p.m.Ā at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, conducted by Rev. Mike Eaton. Family and friends are invited to visit for three hours prior to the service, fromĀ 3-6 p.m.Ā Memorial contributions may be made to the Cat House Feline Sanctuary, 1130 E.
