Donna J. ''Jeanie'' Denoon, 70, of Galion, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her home, after a battle with cancer.
Jeanie was born in Crestline on June 3, 1945 to the late Claude and Frankie L. (Smith) Testement.
She graduated from Crestline High School, Crestline in 1964. She retired in 2009 from the Galion Amvets Post 1979 as a cook with over 20 years of service. She was a life member of Amvets Post 1979, Galion. A devout Christian who loved the Lord, she was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Galion. Jeanie was known for her baking and cooking; especially for her “commando burgers”. She was very proud of her family.
She is survived by her daughter Tonya Ometer, Galion, her son James Denoon, Galion, her six grandchildren Angel Engler, Jordan Engler, James C. Denoon Jr., Rylynd Denoon, Zack Nirode George Feltner and Josh Duncan, her great granddaughter Nevaeh Feltner, her two sisters Edna “Eddie” Walters, Galion, Barbara “Bobbie” Young, Mansfield and her brother Claude F. & Barbara Testement, Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Hugh William Denoon and her brother William Lewis Testement.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N., Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2015 at Heritage Baptist Church, 1381 State Route 61, Galion, with Pastor Rodney Noblit officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia.
