Donald R. Tabor

Donald R. Tabor of Mansfield passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021, in Avita Ontario Hospital at the age of 62. He was born November 3, 1958, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Wylie Tabor and Wanda (Bellomy) Tabor.

He attended Crestview High School and worked for Mansfield Engineered Components as a press operator. Donnie was a generous man who gave of himself in many ways. He was always willing to help out someone in need. Although he could be a bit to the point, Donnie never wavered on his viewpoint and you always knew where you stood in his eyes. One of his favorite activities was sitting on the porch reminiscing with his family and friends. The stories he told will be remembered for a lifetime.

Donnie was a huge fan of NASCAR, closely following his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr. He enjoyed hunting and was a collector of eagles and Harley Davidson memorabilia. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Donnie enjoyed having a cold Budweiser, playing Euchre with his friends and listening to Bluegrass and country music.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Debra Grice Tabor; a brother, Rod Tabor; two daughters, Sabrina and Chrissy; a step son, Darrin; two step daughters, Dawn and Heather; four grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Linda Tabor; and his nephews. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Wylie Tabor; mother and step father, Wanda and Terry Richmond; and brother, Dan Tabor.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road.
