Diane C. Jackson, 62, of Fremont passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at her home.

Born March 13, 1954 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late L. Eugene and Monica C. (Schwartz) Carter. She married Don R. Jackson on Feb. 27, 1982 and he survives.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafts and cross stitching.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her son Matthew Jackson, Fremont, her daughter Sara and Tyler Stierwalt, of Fremont, her granddaughter Ava Jackson, her stepgranddaugher, Cora Stierwalt; her brothers and sisters; Barbara “Bubbles” Clevenger, of Galion, Mary Jean “Jeannie” and Fred Hetler, For. Wayne, Indiana, Bonita and James V. Caskey, of Galion, Francine and Steven Nelson, of Galion and numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her sister; Mary Reynolds and her brothers; Joseph Carter, Daniel Carter, Timothy Carter and Thomas Carter.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N. Galion.
