Deitra J. Biddle, 53, of Galion, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at the Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born April 12, 1961 in Vincennes, Indiana and was the daughter of Eugene and Barbara (Spriggs) Biddle.
Deitra was a 1979 graduate of Galion High School and worked for many years at Church Directories/Life Touch. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to teach Sunday school and enjoyed anything with helping children.
Deitra is survived by her mom, Barbara Biddle of Galion; sister Lois Biddle of Galion, sister Jackie Hancock (Paul Biddle) of Galion; brother Calvin Biddle of Galion; nephew Brian (Wendy) Hancock and their children Brandon, Joshua and Kaylee; special friend and co-worker Judy Smith and special neighbors who were always there for her, the Rameys and Hoverlands.
She is preceded in death by her father and a nephew Kenneth Hancock.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10 to 12 noon at the Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel where services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday with Pastor Chris Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in honor of Joshua and Kaylee Hancock in care of the funeral home.
