Cindy L. Delarber, 54, of New Washington, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, November 21, 2018, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born October 17, 1964, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Charles “Chuck” and Karen (Frost) Mosier.
She graduated from Ontario High School and was a preschool teacher for the Erie/Huron CAC Head Start for 13 years. Cindy absolutely loved her job and was very dedicated to teaching the students. Even though she was battling terminal cancer, she was determined to go to work for as long as possible. Most of all, Cindy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, W. John Delarber; daughter, Ashley Heslep; grandson, Alexander Palmer; step children, Shawn (Lisa) Delarber, Beth (Ted) Heinlen, Kyle (Tammy) Delarber; eight step grandchildren; niece, Megan Pieper; nephew, Mathew Pieper; friends of the family, Nancy Carr and Carol (Doug) Leach; and numerous close friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa (Lou) Pieper.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Mansfield Cemetery. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
