Cecile C. Marcoff of Ontario passed away Friday evening, January 7, 2022, at Mansfield Memorial Homes at the age of 95.

Born Jan. 11, 1926, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Dimitra (Costo) and Chris G. Marcoff. She worked for over 23 years at Hartman Electric and retired from Tyco. Cecile was a spit fire who was full of life. Her independence shown in everything she did. She loved being with her family and was always concerned for their well-being. Spending time with her friends was one of her favorite ways to pass the time. Cecile honored her Macedonia roots through her affiliation with St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

She is survived by three nieces, Debbie (Rodney) Musick, Cindi (John) Petroff and Carol (David) Gabauer; six great-nieces and nephews, Kelly Guth, Kyle (Betsy) Musick, Derek (Kayla) Moritz, Amanda Moritz, Jessica (Justin) Garver and Steven Petroff; eight great-great nieces and nephews, Alexa, Marley, Briggs, Abigail, Cecilia, Timothy, Easton, Bowen and one on the way; as well as many other great-nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by a brother, Peter G. Marcoff; two sisters, Christine C. Pratt and Katherine Shrader; a nephew, Richard Nicoloff; and a great-nephew, Eric Gabauer.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
