Catherine M. “Cathy” Rowalt, 74, formerly of Bucyrus, died peacefully Monday, November 17, 2014 at Signature Healthcare, Galion.

Catherine was born in Bucyrus, OH on Aug. 2, 1940 to the late Donald E. and Anna Jane (Stuckert) McClary. 

She was a 1958  graduate of Bucyrus High School, Bucyrus.  She had been employed by the Shelby Nursing Home, Shelby as an STNA.  She loved country western music and flowers.  Catherine enjoyed watching the cooking channel, baking cakes and cookies, talking on the CB radio with the handle of “Brown Eyes”.    

She is survived by her three sons and a daughter Greg Rowalt, Mansfield, Doug Rowalt, Galion, Sheila Rowalt, Bucyrus and Steve Rowalt, Galion, her seven grandchildren Seth & Lisa Rowalt, Marion, Krisna Rowalt, Mansfield, Kylee Rowalt, Galion, Jessica Rowalt, Galion, Brandon McGee, Bucyrus, Tyler Rowalt, Upper Sandusky and Christian Fischer, Upper Sandusky and her nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters Jeannie Wise and Sally McClary.

The Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion is honored to have assisted the family of Catherine M. Rowalt.
