Carl Vasquez Sr.

Carl Vasquez Sr., 55, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016.

Carl was born July 10, 1960 in Mansfield, and was the son of the late Norbert and Linda Lou (Webb) Vasquez. He was an excellent mechanic, built race car motors, and could weld anything. Carl enjoyed watching “Gunsmoke” and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Vasquez; six children, Curtis (Tabitha) Vasquez, Carl (April) Vasquez Jr., Kenneth (Bridgette) Vasquez, Linda Vasquez, Tiffany Vasquez, and Brittany Thompson; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Vasquez; and one sister, Brenda Vasquez-Nichols.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Humble officiating. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery.
