Brent M. Johnson, 45, of Lexington passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family
following an extended illness.
Brent was born Aug. 2, 1970 in Mansfield. While applying for a job as cook, he first met Edin Caruthers. A few weeks later the two were dating and married on Aug. 2, 2002. Brent worked as a millwright. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, going to the races at Mid Ohio, and hanging out with friends. Brent enjoyed going to Niagara Falls, and camping. He was a wonderful cook, and could best be described as a loving family-man.
He is survived by his wife Edin Johnson, of Lexington; children Tyler and Eric Johnson, Alexis children Tyler and Eric Johnson, Alexis (Lonnie) Johnson, Kaili Lyons, Trevor, Gage, and Abigail Johnson; granddaughter Aurora “Rooster” Johnson; brother Curt (Hattie) Johnson, of Crestline; sister-in- law Tammie Henson, of Florida; niece and nephews Melodie Johnson, Curtis (Nikita) Johnson, Devin Ray; mother-in-law Marianne Gatton, of Bellville and father-in- law Mike (Sheila) Caruthers, of Bellville.
Brent was preceded in death by mother Venus Henson brothers Shawn Johnson and Thomas “T” Henson; grandparents Peter and Dixie Johnson.
The Johnson family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 3 to 8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.
