Betty L. Weyant, 86, of Crestline, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH after a short illness.
Betty was born in Altoona, PA on October 2, 1928 to the late Walter and Martha (Vipond) Stiffler. She married Curtis C. Weyant on June 10, 1953 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1982.
Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church, Crestline. She worked for many years at Theiss Pharmacy, Anchor Pharmacy and Rite Aid Pharmacy in Crestline. She enjoyed going to McDonald’s and visiting with her friends. She loved spending time with her family who were her pride and joy. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Hale & Michael Fitzpatrick of Galion, her son Matthew & Laura Weyant of Crestline, her four grandchildren: Tyler (Kasey) Hale, Kurt Weyant, Nathan Weyant and Rachel Weyant, her great grandson Kurt Weyant, Jr., and her good friend Annette Smith.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Joan Hart and Jane Bellacero and her brother James Stiffler.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Mark A Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main Street, Crestline, with Pastor Becky Weamer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Methodist Hospital Heart Care Fund in care of the funeral home.
