Barbara S. Kline

Barbara S. Kline, 75, of Galion, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Country Meadows Care Center, Bellville after a short illness.

Barb was born in Mansfield on March 4, 1942 to the late Hugh B. and Lois Ellene (Meyer) Clingan. She married Charles H. Kline on May 14, 1994 and he survives her.

She was employed and retired from Shelby Hospital as a Secretary. Barb was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Ontario. Barb loved to spend her time in Winterhaven, Florida.

In her free time, she loved to go fishing at Lake Erie. One of her most memorable adventures was a trip to Hawaii with her daughter. She also enjoyed her many adventures with her girlfriends to Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

In addition to her husband Charlie, she is survived by one daughter; Rebecca and Jeff Harris, of Ashland, one son; Michael and Cindy Kochheiser, of Bellville; two stepchildren; Alda Jane and Tom Roelle and Roy and Carol Kline, both of Galion; five grandchildren; Katelyn and Levi Motter, Michael and Taylor Kochheiser, Matthew Kochheiser, Jennifer and Steward Lackey, and Ryan and Bethany Steward; two step-grandchildren; Michael and Jessica Harris, and Brandon Harris; four great-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild; three brothers and one sister; David and Sue Clingan, of Shelby, Linda and Bill Flenner, of Mansfield, Stephen and Sherrie Clingan, of Hayesville, and Timothy and Louise Clingan, of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice in care of the funeral home.
