Barbara J. (Hibbard) Gray, 81, of Bellville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 19, 2020, with her loving husband beside her.
Barbara was born on November 22, 1938, in Rockfort, IL, to Lee M. and Dorothy J. (Garland) Hibbard. She married her sweetheart, Clair Gray, on August 30, 1961. Barbara supported and worked beside him, as he was an ordained Methodist minister, and pastored many churches including Bellville Methodist Church. He was also a school teacher at Mansfield City Schools for 36 years. They had an arts and crafts store and she ran the Flame store for Mansfield Christian School. She started the Mary Hart Ministry and was involved in many ministries and missions. She was a member of Impact Church, sang in the choir, enjoyed Christian concerts, and was an avid Christian reader.
Along with her husband Clair, Barbara is survived by her children, June (Brent) Baker of Poland, OH, and Paul (Casey) Gray of Boseman, Montana; six grandchildren; and one brother, Don Hibbard of Sanford, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Impact Church, 160 Woodruff Road, Mansfield, with Pastor James Carder officiating.
