Anita L. Harbison, 59 of Orwigsburg, PA and former Galion resident passed away Wednesday morning, July 6, 2016 at the Penn State Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

She was born July 23, 1956 in Mt. Gilead and was the daughter of John and Suvilla (Ball) Bostic. Anita is survived by her husband of 30 years, Rick Harbison who she married on April 5, 1986.

Anita is also survived by children Amy (Chad) Legron of Attica, Andrea (Bill) Nelson of Crestline and Steve (Tasha) Smith of Galion; seven grandchildren Layne and Triston Nelson, Gage and Gavin Legron, Brianne Collins, Brode and Briston Smith; sisters Gale (Gary) Schwartz of Bucyrus and Pam Bostic of Texas and a sister-in-law Karen Brandenburg of Galion.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson Brice Allan J. Smith, three brothers and two sisters.

For Anita, her grandchildren were her life and she was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, taking photos and scrapbooking.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Foundation in care of the funeral home.
