MANSFIELD: Andra Joy Webb, age 61, passed away at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus following a battle with Covid-19 on Monday, August 30, 2021.
She was born in Mansfield on September 28, 1959 the daughter of James “Jimmy Jack” Webb Jr. and Anna Mary (Bauers) Webb. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High where she played trumpet. Andra worked for Ideal Electric as an overhead crane operator and later worked as a semi-truck driver travelling all over, as far as NY to CA.
Andra enjoyed a close relationship with her parents and moved in to help take care of them until her mother’s passing in 2015 and her father’s passing earlier this year.
Andra’s top three passions were her love for the Lord, art, and music. She regularly attended Honey Creek Baptist Church in Bellville where she sang and played guitar & keyboard. She was also a songwriter and recorded 6 albums. Andra was a lover of nature and especially enjoyed being in the woods and collecting objects for her art projects. She was a gifted painter and wood sculpturist. Her family and friends will cherish her songs and works of art and will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her siblings Henry “Hank” (Holly) Stevens of Ashland, Robin Webb (Gregory James) of Butler and Jerry Webb of KY; close friend (who was like a sister) Peggy (Keith) Snyder of Mansfield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Due to the pandemic, private family services will be held at a later date. Honey Creek Baptist Church will announce a celebration of life service for Andra.
