Albert E. “Albie” White, 71, of Crestline, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, Bucyrus, after a short illness.

Albie was born in Crestline on Oct. 9, 1944 to the late Marion I. and Helen I. (Ogi) White.

Albie lived in Crestline most of his life and graduated from Crestline High School, Class of 1962. He attended the Calvary United Church of Christ, Crestline. Albie was a member of the Army National Guard. He worked as an insurance agent until his retirement. Prior to selling insurance, Albie drove a beer delivery truck. 

He is survived by his two daughters, Shelley and Justin Brewer, of Crestline, Kelley Bailey, of Willard, his four grandchildren, Blaine Barker, Cameron, Alicia, and Caiden Bailey, his sister, Judy White, of Miami, Florida, his brother, Robert White and friend, Linda Byerly, of Crestline, his brother-in-law, David Gekler and friend Liz Houghtlen, of Crestline, his special friend, Doris Ann Bowling, of Mansfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William White, and his sister Relda Gekler. 

Friends may call Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with Pastor Gary Proietti officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
