YEA

MANSFIELD -- Start as a student and finish as a CEO!

The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development will host a Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) information session for students in grades 6-12, their families, and local business leaders on Sept. 5 and 9.

YEA! is a 24-week program that guides middle and high school students through launching and running their own real businesses or social movements.

Attendees will learn about the structure, curriculum, and student application process for the program, as well as how business leaders can get involved as a mentor, guest speaker, field trip host, or investor.

Meetings will be from 6 to 7 p.m. both evenings at the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development, 55 N. Mulberry St.

The meeting is open to the public, including business leaders and interested community volunteers.
