MANSFIELD -- Tickets are now available to one of the most important political debates in recent Mansfield history.

The city's mayoral candidates -- Republican Tim Theaker and Democrat Don Bryant -- will participate in a "live CEO job interview" on the stage of The Renaissance Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Theaker is seeking a third and final four-year term as mayor. Bryant is in his first term as an at-large member of Mansfield City Council. The election is Nov. 5.

Tickets are free to the public, though reserved seating is recommended. General admission tickets are free and can be easily reserved at the Renaissance Theater’s website​.

VIP tickets are preferred seating nearest to the stage and are available for $20 each.

All proceeds from VIP ticket sales will be donated to the Mansfield Rising project at the Richland County Foundation.
