BLOOMINGGROVE TOWNSHIP -- A 67-year-old Shiloh man was in critical condition at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Wednesday morning after the horse-drawn buggy he was operating collided with a semi.
According to the Mansfield Post of the State Patrol, Ammond Troyer was westbound in his buggy on Lattimer Road, approaching Ohio 13.
At 8:54 a.m., Troyer failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a southbound semi driven by Bradley Weiser, 53, of Wooster.
The buggy traveled off the left side of the road, ejecting its three occupants. Two juvenile occupants in the buggy were transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Weiser was not injured, troopers said.
The crash remains under investigation, the patrol said.
