GALION — The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its District 3 construction report for the week of June 24.

As a result, Crawford County drivers are urged to use caution on these roads:

State Route 4

SR 4 in Bucyrus, between Krauter Rd. and South Sandusky Ave., will have intermittent single-lane closures for a resurfacing project. Crews will begin working on curb ramps and catch basins. The project is expected to be complete August 2019.

State Route 19

SR 19, just northwest of Parcher/Campbell Rd., will close Monday, June 24 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for southeast motorists is SR 19 to SR 100, south on SR 100 to SR 309/61, north on SR 309/61 to SR 19, and reverse for northwest motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, June 28, 2019.

US Route 30

US 30, between Lower Leesville Rd. and Old Lincoln Hwy., have the left lanes eastbound and westbound closed to traffic. Holmes Center Road, over US 30, is closed for a concrete deck overlay. The detour route for northbound motorists is Old Lincoln Hwy to Bethel Rd., north on Bethel Rd. to Spore Brandywine Rd., east on Spore Brandywine Rd. to Holmes Center Road, and reverse for southbound motorists. Holmes Center Road is expected to reopen July 2019.

Portable barriers have been set so that crews can begin structure work; traffic is shifted onto the right shoulder at the structures. Crews are currently performing pavement repairs on the west end of the project. Work zone speed limits are in effect. The speed limit when workers are present is 55 mph, and 65 mph when workers are not present. The entire project is expected to be complete October 2019.

State Route 97

SR 97, between Millsboro Rd. and N. Bloomfield Rd. (TR 48), is closed for a bridge repair project. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 97 to SR 288, west on SR 288 to SR 19, north on SR 19 to Millsboro Rd., east on Millsboro Rd. to SR 97, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Thursday, July 11, 2019.
