Richland Rural Life Center, 969 E. Crall Road

MADISON TOWNSHIP -- The annual BBQ chicken dinner at the Richland Rural Life Center, 969 E. Crall Road, (corner of Stewart and Crall roads) will be Oct. 3 from 4 to 6:00 p.m.

Dinner includes: chicken slow cooked over an open pit; buttered parsley potatoes or au gratin potatoes; old fashioned slaw salad or applesauce;  dinner roll, beverage and a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.

Tickets are $11 for adults (1/2 a chicken). Tickets for seniors and children (1/4 chicken) are $6. Carry-out meals are available. Dine-in capacity is limited due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements.

Extra chicken halves are available for $5 and homemade ice cream quarts  for $3.50.

The Rural Life Center is a non-profit organization that supports 4-H (where Richland County holds 4-H camp) and Boy/Cub Scout troops. Proceeds from dinners and events help maintain the Rural Life Center land and facilities.
