MANSFIELD -- The city of Mansfield and the Richland County Engineer's office have announced the closure of a couple of roads next week.
The engineer's office has stated that Wheatcraft Road, between Brokaw Road and Hill Road in Worthington Township, will be closed Tuesday, July 30, and will remain closed through Thursday, Aug. 1. The closure will allow for a culvert replacement.
In Mansfield, due to storm line repairs it will be necessary to close sections of the following road while work is being completed.
Oak Street between Davidson Street and South Illinois Avenue.
The road will be closed 8 a.m. on Monday, July 29. It's expected to be re-opened by the end of the workday Friday, Aug. 2, barring any unanticipated problems.
Construction signs will be posted at the work site. Traffic is advised to plan an alternate route to avoid possible delays. No traffic will be permitted to pass.
