The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., in partnership Richland County Transit, would like to announce that free transportation will be available to Richland county citizens for the Mass COVID-19 vaccine clinic. In some cases, transportation can be given from an individual’s home address.

Anyone wanting a vaccine is required to make an appointment by calling 419-524-4144. The mass COVID-19 Vaccine clinic will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Hawkins Corner located at 2131 Park Avenue West, Ontario. Time slots for the vaccine will range from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Anyone 18 and older, and from any county, is welcome to participate in this vaccine clinic.

What to bring: Many forms of ID are accepted to verify your name, identity, and age. You do not need to show proof of citizenship or residency status.

Cost: No cost, insurance not required.

The Area Agency on Aging realizes this partnership is critical to ensure equity and access to Ohioans who might not otherwise have a chance to get vaccinated, whether their barrier is transportation, location, mobility, or access to care and education about the vaccine.
