MANSFIELD — The Richland County Board of Commissioners has announced that individuals register for wireless notifications via the Richland County’s new Wireless Emergency Notification System (“WENS”).

The systems distributes real-time county information that includes, but is not limited to: weather alerts (“NOAA”), road construction updates, weather emergencies, voting news, and building closures.

There is no cost to sign up, and users may go to rcalerts.richlandcountyoh.gov for instructions on how to sign-up.
