MANSFIELD – The American Red Cross in Richland County is offering two different life-saving courses in October and November. These courses will be held at the Red Cross office located at 2 Smith Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio, 44905.
Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR and AED Blended Learning; Thursday, Oct. 22. 1st class: 9 to 11 a.m.; 2nd class: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Blended Learning; Wednesday, Nov. 11, 9 a.m. to noon.
Both classes require an online portion to be completed before attending the in-person skills session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-person portion and must be taken on a computer or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection.
You must present your online completion report at the skill class. Allow approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a digital certificate valid for two years.
Register through www.redcross.org/training. Enter zip code 44905 (Mansfield OH) and use either CPR or Basic Life Support for class type. Follow the instructions to "sign me up”.
