Chalk Murder to me

Chalk Murder to Me co-host Noah Jones stands with October guest, Det. Srgt. Matt Loughman after the completion of a podcast.

MANSFIELD -- It didn't take long for Mansfield Police to find the body of Tamara D. Harris rotting in the back of her estranged husband's car.

Tamara's murder became national news after Mansfield police said Dequalan Harris had driven her body from Cedar Hill, Texas, searching for love.

On the latest episode of "Chalk Murder To Me," Det. Sgt. Matt Loughman sat down with hosts Noah Jones and Adam Fox to explain how his department went about solving the case.

Loughman described the corpse rotting in the August 2017 sun with a 1-year-old child riding in the back seat of the car.

Loughman also discussed how local police and the Cedar Hill police joined forces in one of the most interesting cases he's worked.
