ONTARIO -- Ontario police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting incident, according to a press release emailed Thursday morning from Chief Tom Hill.

No one was injured in the incident, Hill said.

Police received a "shots fired" call at 3:45 p.m. in the area of Willowood Road South and Rosewood Drive, the chief said.

Officers located a disabled vehicle with occupants in the area of Willowood Road East and Rosewood Drive.

The chief said the vehicle had several gunshot holes in it and was disabled after leaving the area of the original shooting. Officers located several shell casings in the area of the original call.

Hill asked that anyone with information call Det. Jon Sigler at 419-529-2115.
