MANSFIELD -- The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Richland County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S Route 30 major rehabilitation

U.S. 30, from state Route 309 to just east of the 5th Avenue ramps, will have single lane closures for a major rehabilitation project. Traffic will always be maintained.

NEW IMPACTS

Longview Avenue, between Route 39 (Springmill Street) and Bowmand Street, will close Monday, June 22 for relocation work of Longview Avenue.

Detour route: Longview Avenue to Route 39, south on Route 39 to Harker Street, east on Harker Street to Bowman street, north Bowman Street to Longview Avenue, and reverse.

S. 30 eastbound, enter and exit ramps, to Route 545 will close permanently per project plans on Monday, June 22. Detour route is posted.

S. 30 westbound, enter and exit ramps, to Route 545 will close Monday, June 22 for approximately three months. Detour route is posted.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Crews continue construction state Route 39 – working on the east side of Route 39 while maintaining traffic on the west side

S. 30 westbound ramp to Route 39 northbound is closed permanently per project plans – detour route is posted

Earthwork continues at the state Route 39 northbound ramp to U.S. 30 eastbound

Estimated completion: May 2023
