MANSFIELD – The NAACP’S Voter Registration Committee will host a public forum with local candidates Saturday October 5, at the Mansfield/ Richland County Public Library located at 43 W. Third Street in the large community room.
The program will begin at 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The forum is open to the public and will be an opportunity for citizens to ask questions and share ideas about how the City of Mansfield can better engage with the community and build relationships. It will also be an opportunity for the candidates to state their ideas on key policy issues, along with methods to obtain their vision and plan.
As being the new Chairman of the NAACP’S Voter Registration Committee, we are dedicated to building trust, communication, and better relations with candidates and those who hold political offices, while creating a culture of inclusion for all citizens. We are also dedicated to helping individuals achieve higher learning concerning voting regulations in Ohio, while registering individuals to vote. We also update information.
It is essential that people exercise their right to vote. It is not about winning or losing. When a person votes they are always winning, as it is liberating to exercise your right to vote.
