LEXINGTON — The Lexington Senior Civic Center will begin serving “to go” meals, starting July 14.
The center will serve meals Tuesdays and Thursdays only from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., serving people in their vehicles.
Seniors should pull off of Main Street and exit straight out the back [two exits to keep traffic flowing]. For $7, seniors will get meat, vegetable, potato, salad and dessert.
The menu for July is:
July 14Â — meat loaf & scalloped potatoes
July 16 — cabbage rolls and mashed potatoes
July 21 — corn beef, red skin potatoes & cabbage
July 23 — shredded chicken & noodles
July 28 — roast beef & mashed potatoes
July 30 — pork chops & potatoes
Call ahead 419-884-1676 to place an order or just drive in.
The center, which stopped meal service in March during the COVID-19 pandemic, will only be preparing 50 meals each day.
