The National Weather Service predicted snow fall for our area through Thursday.

MANSFIELD -- If you like winter weather, you just may love north central Ohio the rest of the week and through the weekend.

The National Weather Service is not making any friends among those already longing for spring.

The latest forecast calls for a 20 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday in the form of snow flurries, freezing drizzle early and then snow showers. The high will be around 34.

Starting Thursday is when things get interesting. Snow is likely before 8 a.m., mixing with ran in the afternoon and a high near 35. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent and new snow accumulation of around an inch is possible.

Thursday night, the NWS predicts rain, snow and freezing rain before midnight and then all snow after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent and the low will be around 28.

North central Ohio is then looking at snow Friday, Saturday and Sunday, though total accumulations are still up in the air ... literally.

Oh yeah, the low Sunday night will dip to around 4 degrees. That's the actual temperature, not wind chill. So be prepared and bundle up.
